Karnal, Haryana: A mobile phone snatching incident was reported on Monday evening near the Sector-12 market area in Karnal. According to police officials, two unidentified men on a motorcycle allegedly snatched a mobile phone from a college student who was walking home from a coaching center.
The victim immediately informed nearby shopkeepers, who helped contact the local police. Officers reached the spot and began checking CCTV footage from nearby shops and streets to identify the suspects. The student was not injured during the incident.
Police have registered a case of snatching and theft and started a search operation in surrounding areas. Authorities have also advised residents to remain alert and avoid using mobile phones while walking alone on less crowded roads at night.
An investigation is ongoing, and police expect to identify the suspects soon.
