Karnal, Haryana: A thrilling district-level kabaddi tournament concluded on Sunday in Karnal, drawing large crowds of sports enthusiasts and local residents. The two-day competition featured eight teams from nearby villages and schools, all competing for the championship trophy.
The final match was played between Karnal Warriors and Shakti Club, with Karnal Warriors winning by five points after a closely contested game. The players showed excellent teamwork, strength, and strategy, keeping the audience excited until the final whistle.
The event was organized by the District Sports Committee, which aims to encourage young athletes to participate in traditional Indian sports. Winners were awarded trophies, medals, and certificates by local officials during the closing ceremony.
Coaches and organizers said such tournaments help promote fitness, discipline, and sportsmanship among youth in Karnal. They also announced plans to host more inter-school sports competitions later this year.
